Our Story

One fateful day in 2021, Cam got a hunch to move out to Phoenix from where he was living in LA. Little did he know, a year later, in March of 2022, Emily would follow that same instinct and land right in the same neighborhood as Cam. After exchanging a few messages on a dating app they both downloaded (& deleted) in the span of a few days, they met one weekend at a local restaurant at the end of their shared street. That was April 24, 2022. They spent every waking moment together after that, dreading the day Emily was set to move out of her rental and continue her travels on June 7, 2022. They fell deeply in love in those weeks, and knew there was no life without each other going forward. Cam flew out to meet Emily while traveling a few weeks later and met almost everyone significant in her life in the span of a one-week roadtrip! The minute she could, Emily moved in with Cam in July in their neighborhood - 3 months from the day they met - and they've built a beautiful life together in the desert ever since.

Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch is located in the beautiful Arizona desert, on the Salt River. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors and on grass/dirt, so please wear appropriate shoes and bring a jacket for the evening. See FAQ for more on dress code :) There will be parking spaces for those who are local, and a shuttle service for those staying at hotels in town. Ubers and ride services will not be able to pick up from the venue in the evening, so please plan accordingly.

Family Lodging

Saguaro Lake Ranch Lodging is provided for immediate family, wedding party & officiant, cabins will be assigned by bride & groom.
Check-In: Friday, November 8, 2024, 3 PM | Check-Out: Sunday, November 10, 2024, 11 AM
All cabins have mini fridges & WIFI is available at the main lodge. Please note cell service is not the strongest. Breakfast will be provided Saturday & Sunday for all guests staying on property along with lunch on Saturday. Bring your swimsuit, there's a pool!

FAQ

WHAT IS THE SUGGESTED DRESS CODE?

Saguaro Lake Ranch is a laid-back, outdoor ranch vibe! We would love guests to wear colors in a desert sunset palette (see below for inspiration). Dress code is dressy casual or country chic throughout the weekend.

HOW FAR IS THE WEDDING VENUE FROM THE PHOENIX SKY HARBOR AIRPORT?

Approximately 33 Miles - without traffic approximately 35 minutes.

CAN I STAY ON THE PROPERTY?

We are fortunate to have most of our family staying with us on the property. We truly wish it was big enough to accomodate all of our loved ones, but for those who aren't staying at the ranch or wish to stay elsewhere, some suggestions are listed in our "travel" section. 

IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue for those who are not staying on property.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Arizona in November has an average high of 85° during the day and 60° at night. 

WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE IF I DON'T WANT TO RENT A CAR?

HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE?

The venue is only reachable by car. If using Google Maps, search for "Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch." There is plenty of parking and cars may be left overnight.  Uber and Lyft are alternatives to driving.
